Abstract

The epic of Ashura is a wonderful manifestation of a series of heroic events that have passed through history and eras; Where the most noble human interests in sacrifice, courage and forgiveness in the sense of reviving Hosseini are displayed; Therefore, the Imami Shiites and the followers and enthusiasts of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) love the Imams, and especially Imam Hussein (PBUH), and on this basis, they hold meetings commemorating the tragedy of Imam Hussein (PBUH) on an annual basis. Among the important questions that are answered in this research are:
- Why do we cry for Imam Hussein (as)?
- Why do not we mourn for other infallible Imams (PBUH) like Imam Hussein (PBUH)?
- What is the reason for the intense respect for Imam Hussein (as)?
- Should we cry for Imam Hussein (as) as a person or because he caused the loss of Islamic rule?
- Are we weeping only for the oppression of Imam Hussein (as) or are we weeping for the injustice and oppression that was inflicted on him in general?
