SUBJECT & OBJECTIVES: This paper examines the cognitive challenges "Generation Z" faces and offers guidance based on Islamic teachings to address these issues.METHOD & FINDING: Utilizing a descriptive and analytical approach, the article identifies key challenges as the virtual-real-life imbalance, susceptibility to gaslighting, information overload, the pursuit of instant gratification, and a diminished attention span. Islamic teachings offer practical solutions to these challenges. The paper is based on Cognitive-Behavioural Theory (CBT) as its theoretical framework.CONCLUSION: From an Islamic perspective, practical strategies for enhancing the cognitive well-being of this generation include appreciating the value of time, fostering self-awareness, promoting Wasaṭīyyah (moderation), cultivating Ṣilah ar-Raḥim (genuine relationships) especially with family, regulating desires, verifying information before acceptance, seeking beneficial knowledge, managing time effectively, practicing self-reflection, encouraging critical thinking, developing patience, expressing gratitude, practicing Khushūʾ (mindfulness in worship), reciting and contemplating the Qur’an, avoiding excessive entertainment, engaging in social interaction, and seeking guidance from scholars. The mentioned factors are crucial in overcoming the challenges encountered by Generation Z.

SUBJECT & OBJECTIVES: Extremist thought in the new media and its impact on society, showing the role of this media, in how they employ the contents of the Islamic values and concepts, within the framework of forming a specific intellectual trend, that aims to influence the vision and convictions of individuals. This analysis also uncovers the most famous electronic communication networks, influencing the extremism and deviation of thought among Arab youth, by analyzing the path of their emergence and formation. Revealing the distortion and misinformation in the media discourse, directed through the network for the defense of the companions and mothers of the believers.METHOD & FINDING: The study relied on precise research tools, such as the technique of quantitative content analysis, the use of the framing method, and the questionnaire also are adopted. The treatment required several research approaches, such as historical, descriptive, and analytical ones. Additionally, using statistics, opinion polls, and numbers fall within the inductive approach. The comparative approach was also used when comparing theory and practice in a case study. The study showed the failure of these extremist sites to distort the image of religious thought and to deviate human societies from their nature, faith, and morality.CONCLUSION: The concepts and values broadcast by these media outlets do not bear the characteristics of thought that make them fall within Islamic thought. Those are thoughts that deviate from the values of Islam.

SUBJECT AND OBJECTIVES: The main question of this research is, “what is the status and use of the expedience institute in the media?” The research hypothesis is that expedience is the most important rule governing the media and its activities, which used the documentary method to investigate this hypothesis. Therefore, this article is organized to explain the concept of religious jurisprudential expedience in the media and to study the motivations and introduce the expedience determining reference in the media.METHOD AND FINDING: The findings of this research are that the element of expedience in the media determines the propagation of news and information. It was also found that maintaining the country's livelihood and political system, justice and security are among the most important incentives, which are the most important materials that should govern media activities in order not to harm one of them.CONCLUSION: In the present day, the media is one of the most important and influential means of social communication from the viewpoint of Shi'a religious jurisprudence. In pursuit of rabid capital accumulation it has placed hardware devices in civilian hands to sell software applications as social media, which has become the social power of people, beyond its control.METHOD AND FINDING: This newfound social power of the people presents opportunities for the promotion of religious education to people who are starving for spiritual fulfilment in the midst of the oversupply of worldly goods. The technological devices, with possibilities of real-time and simultaneous communications across international boundaries, compel the development of new methodologies, new quality assurances, and new contents, which are unique and original. As knowledge is the social property of all of humanity and not the private property of individuals, states and religious organizations have to collaborate in the transfer of beneficial knowledge, skills, expertise, cultures, languages, and religions – with tolerance and understanding. It is a world where the walls of universities are metaphorically falling down and the world has become a global campus. This demands the creation of new adaptive education models in which the distinction between learners and educators is blurred.CONCLUSION: In spite of the intimidating edifice of globalization, education needs to maintain the basics of cognition, viz., language, learning, memory, intelligence, and thinking as well as the positive emoting abilities of learners/educators. Spirituality needs to be redefined, in modern scientific terms, as the natural realm of ideas, cognition, sensory inputs, emotions, perceptions, and beliefs. In this regard, the main purpose of this article is to explore the opportunities of cyberspace with an educational-religious approach and to achieve this goal by studying the features and strengths of cyberspace using library method. The theoretical foundations of this study, which has been conducted with the aim of measuring the feasibility of cyberspace in creating and productivity of religious education, is to use the paradigm of dual space and conceptualize the difference between the characteristics of cyberspace and the components of religious education.
